I went there with my two teenage daughters on a hot August Tuesday. Park has good slides but what good is that if you have to wait on lines for more than an hour? We got there at 10:30 and stayed until closing (6pm). Got to go on 4 (!) slides and a lazy river. We paid $150 for the three of us, including parking and rental of one small locker. Four slides were not worth $50. I understand that many people want to visit water park on a hot day - so keep park open longer - 9am to 9pm would be good. Keep all the slides open too - several were not operational. Lines for food were very long too - not all registers were open. To add insult to injury - they closed the parking lot and we had to wait in traffic to exit in one single lane! We felt like it was absolute waste of our day and money. Absolutely not worth it! I will not be back! Next time we'll have a longer drive to Mountain Creek in NJ or to Camel Back. We had very good experiences with those two water parks in the past.
Splish splash was a lot of fun. The food was a little expensive and the lines were long but overall it was an awesome spot for a date. The option for reentry was nice we left for lunch and were able to come back and enjoy the park for a few more hours.
Good place to spend a hot hazy and humid day in July and August. The only issue is that it is crowed with kids from day and summer camps. When they ask for suggestions to make the park better I always submit that they should have a local day where only long island residents can enjoy the park. Now if you want to some what enjoy the park and adviod all the crowd you have to go on a Sunday morning.
Everything's everything you can ask for. Service, tidiness, bathrooms, fast passes, season passes, food, and of course, the entertainment. However, if you don't buy a fast pass, it's quite the wait. You also want to get there early for a good parking spot and leave early too, before the traffic comes in.
It's lots of fun, just like any other amusement/water parks especially universals you have yo wait in the lines for a while but that's nothing they can control, just got get there quicker recommend getting their close to opening time or later near closing times lines are quicker. The slides are fun and their foods great. Water shoes recommended
